An English-Friendly Photography Studio Near Ohori Park
Ohori Photo Studio is the continuation of Hideshima Photo Nishijin Studio, an independent photography studio that started in Nishijin, Fukuoka.
After working mainly with portrait, profile and promotional photography, we moved to our current studio near Ohori Park, a bright and simple space for studio portraits, family photos and personal branding sessions.
Our goal is to create photographs that feel natural, clean and beautifully polished, while carefully guiding each person’s posture, expression, light and background.
Meet Your Photographer
I am Nozomu Hideshima, the owner and photographer of Ohori Photo Studio.
I started photography through self-study and continue to refine my work through real client sessions and training. I also sometimes travel to Tokyo to attend workshops and private lessons by top advertising photographers in Japan.
Before focusing fully on photography, I worked as an Airbnb Experience host, guiding international visitors to local izakaya in Fukuoka and enjoying food and drinks together. I also lived in Singapore from third to fifth grade, so I can speak a little English.
My English is not perfect, but English inquiries are welcome.

The Day
Studio photo sessions are suitable for profile photos, business portraits, family photos, couple photos, maternity photos, kimono photos and ID photos.Our studio is located near Ohori Park in Fukuoka.
We use natural light and professional lighting depending on your purpose and style.

You can choose the number of photos after the photo session.
After the photographer’s basic selection, you will select your favorite photos.
Photos are delivered with basic editing, including brightness, color and composition adjustments.
Delivery: within 7 days after the session
Full cut includes at least 50 edited images.
Session time: about 30 minutes photo session + 30 minutes photo selection

The Scene
Location photo sessions are available in Fukuoka City and nearby areas.
We can shoot at outdoor locations, city streets, seaside areas, traditional locations and other places depending on the atmosphere you want.

Photo delivery method
Photos will be delivered through Google Photos.
Due to storage capacity, the online album will be deleted 7 days after publication.
Please download and save your photos by yourself.
After 6 months from delivery, our stored data will be deleted.
Photo delivery is available only once.
Additional re-delivery after the first delivery may require an extra fee.
Please contact us if you need another delivery method.

Usually 1 day to 1 week after the session.
RAW data
RAW data is not provided in order to protect the photographer’s creative intention and the final quality of the work.
Skin retouch
Photoshop skin retouch is available for ¥5,500 per image, tax included.
Simple skin retouch using developing software is available for 20% of the session price and will be applied to all delivered images.
You can check the simple skin retouch result on the day of the session before deciding.
Image manipulation
We do not provide image manipulation such as changing body shape, removing people or objects, or cutting out subjects.
Payment / Receipt
Payment is accepted on the day of the session by cash or credit card.
Credit card payment is available by contactless payment only.
Magnetic stripe cards are not accepted.
For cash payments, please prepare the exact amount.
We do not prepare change.
Receipts will be delivered as digital data when your photos are delivered.
